One thousand years ago, five gods visited the lonely planet of Bodarium. The gods gave the Spiral Chair to the Amorphar people who lived there, making the icon a symbol of hope and salvation. Genre: Murder Mystery Title: Malignance: the Dark Ages Trilogy, Episode II AUTHOR: Sturmen Krieg Captain Richter returns home from a dangerous mission abroad to the horrible reality of his daughter’s murder. Driven by agonizing guilt and strong parental love, he roams the voodoo-infested underground of New Orleans, determined to get justice for his only child. Thwarted by a tough-guy cop, Richter goes through the list of suspects, from a sleazy porn director to a powerful voodoo priestess, including the possibility of an evil far too close to home. “Malignance: the Dark Ages Trilogy, Episode II” is the second installment in a series by Sturmen Krieg involving the rebellious ex-soldier, Captain Alexander Richter. The novel brings to life fascinating characters in the ever-exciting setting of New Orleans. As with the first book, this story is action-packed, with many an exciting chase, leading up to a surprise twist ending. Sturmen Krieg lived for 3 years in New Orleans, demonstrated by his detail descriptions of the city, and his colorful portrayal of the inhabitants. For fans of the murder mystery genre, "Malignance" will be thoroughly enjoyed. I recommend reading book one - Ignoble: The Dark Ages Trilogy - first.
